Coordinated by Professor Bruno Souza, "NeuroCine" is an initiative that uses film as a tool for scientific dissemination. The event consists of the screening and discussion of a film related to some aspect of neuroscience. Before the film screening, one of the professors gives a lecture on the neuroscientific theme of the film. Immediately after the screening, a debate and discussion with the audience takes place.

Neurotalk is a monthly meeting for undergraduate and graduate students interested in Neuroscience. At each meeting, an expert in the chosen subject area gives a brief presentation, followed by an open discussion with the students. Coordinated by Professor Bruno Souza, this project's main objective is to disseminate scientific knowledge and promote critical dialogue with students.

Brain Awareness Week is a worldwide event for disseminating Neuroscience. The UFMG Brain Awareness Week is coordinated by several professors from various departments (Physiology, Morphology, Biochemistry, Psychology, Medicine, etc.) and aims to demonstrate the progress and benefits of research on brain function.
